Overwatch 2 has released this 2023 something unique for the IP: the first crossover with a license outside of Blizzard. This great event as part of its Season 3 it is bringing us characters like Saitama or Tatsumaki, and today it is time to confirm genosobviously like a skin of Genji himself.
It could not be otherwise, and it is that the cybernetic ninja can only be brought to the video game as part of another cyber ninja. A glimpse that we have been able to see thanks to the PlayStation blog along with the conceptual arts of the Japanese character for the game.
As Blizzard has shared, the skin of Genos for Genji has sought to be detailed and faithful original manga and anime, but always keeping their feet on the ground. Why haven’t we seen other characters? Apparently, the Americans are not going to want to spend all the bullets in a first batch and have wanted to bring to the video game those easily recognizable characters that fit well with the world in which the IP takes place.
Of course, that does not mean that Genji’s skin has a certain strange touch. Although it is the most obvious for the character that Genos is, this hybrid fusion of both characters is strange to say the least. We can’t say what it is, but there is something weird on his faceMaybe too neat.

This event as crossover will start next week, from the day 7 of March at 7:00 p.m.. Although the skins will remain in our library and no one will be able to take them from us, the event will have a limited duration, so we better go fast.
