Battlefield 2042 has a new gameplay trailer dedicated to its new specialists in the style of Rainbow Six: Siege

This is one of those years where Call of Duty has to face its most direct competitor in stores. Battlefield 2042 will be available next October, so Electronic Arts have gotten the hang of the marketing campaign and share a new gameplay trailer.

A fairly short one, it may be said, that delves into the main skills of our specialists. In case you are not very familiar with the subject yet, these new playable characters with stories and proper names bring a series of tools and passives that go beyond what normal soldiers can do.

For instance, Maria Falck She is a medic who can revive her fallen allies and restore them to 100% of their health, while the rest of the combatants only recover them to 50%. Plus, you can do the job remotely, firing syringes with a dedicated tool. Sounds good? Well, watch out for Webster Mackay, in the vein of Pathfinder in Apex Legends.

Battlefield 5 remains in the top 10 on Steam after a free weekend: a great return to WWII

Battlefield 2042 is expected to be available on October 22 on PC and consoles. This new next-generation installment will bring with it maps and modes that host a maximum of 128 players, the ambitious Portal mode, as well as the aforementioned specialists, and an ambitious post-launch support plan with seasons of content. We will be able to test it soon in a beta that is not yet dated.
