Journalist specialized in chess, in EL PAÍS since 1985. He has given lectures (and trained more than 30,000 teachers in educational chess) in 30 countries. He author of ‘Chess and science, mixed passions’. Counselor of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) for educational chess. Medal of Sports Merit from the Government of Spain (2011).
